WILLOW.....
Willow is a tomboy, a perpetual motion machine.  She loves playing outside mostly, climbing trees, building tents with blankets, playing hide and go seek, and especially swimming down by the old pond.  But occasionally she does have her quiet moments where you might catch her drawing pictures or making paper dolls from Mom’s old catalogs.  She loves school, 'cause she’s in second grade you know!  And did you know that “Willow’s Way” is named after her Great Grandpa?

HOLLY.....
Holly can best be described as the “quiet” one.  She is a very loving and giving little girl, always wanting to please.  Her favorite thing is playing house and taking care of her multitude of dollies and teddy bears, but will drop everything for a game of tag, jacks or hopscotch with her friends.  She’s the one who makes sure every thing is properly in place for their tea parties.  Holly loves to read.  She especially loves stories about make believe and fantasy.

POPPY.....
Poppy is of Irish heritage as I’m sure you can tell by her auburn hair!  She once told me that if she could be anything else, it would be a butterfly, then she could flutter and fly around and go anywhere she wanted to.  Poppy says someday she’s going to be a teacher.  She loves arithmetic and history mostly, and she especially loves it when her best friends are willing to play “school” and she gets to be the teacher.

MERRYROSE.....
Footloose and fancy free!  That's our MerryRose.  Today she wants to be a cowboy, with her own horse of course!  Tomorrow she'll drop everything to go and play at being a pirate.  Or, if her friend Kip wants to be "Robin Hood", she wants to be "Little John"...one of the other girls can be "Maid Marian"!  Being a leader comes pretty easy to MerryRose.  With her effervescent personality, she has no problems getting the other playmates to go along with her on her many imaginary adventures!

HEATHER.....
When Heather is around, there seems to be a kind of magic in the air.  But I suspect that's because there is something "magical" about her.  She very much believes in fairies, you know.  In fact, she's sure that there are fairies living down under the shrub-rose hedges.  When she's not searching for fairies, you might catch her chasing butterflies or fireflies.  But watch her especially when she plays "make-believe".  Becoming a princess, a ballerina, or a fairy, always with wings, that's when that spark of magic is the most obvious.  Someday I suspect, you're going to see her in the theater or maybe even in the movies!

KIP.....
Kip is a quiet, sweet and gentle boy, with a whole lot of curiosity!  He's the only boy on the block you know, so when he's not playing games or leading adventures with the girls, you'll find him riding his bike or scooter over to the playground to play with some of his boy classmates.  Or, you just might catch him with his nose in a book or two.  He's an avid reader, especially adventure stories.  Everything he does, from kite flying, to exploring in the woods, to playing down at the lake, Kip is always asking questions, wanting to know the why and how of things.  His teacher is positive that someday he will certainly go on to study one of the physical sciences.
